Today, my husband and I are celebrating the six-year anniversary of the night we met.  We both logged into an AOL chat room entitled "Thirties Love".  (Shhh, he was only 25, I was 37.)  Who would have thought we'd be where we are today?  Next month marks the two-year anniversary of our marriage.  In honor of this wondrous occasion, I'd like to list some of the reasons I love my husband.

1.  He makes me laugh so hard I can barely breathe, let alone speak.
2.  He embraced a ready-made family with unusual issues.
3.  He looks really cute in the morning when his hair sticks up straight over his right temple.
4.  He scratches and massages my back when I really need it and haven't yet asked.  He somehow knows.
5.  He never speaks ill of anyone.
6.  His kisses and touch make me melt.
7.  The words he engraved on my watch, "I Won't Let You Fall Apart", from NIN's song The Fragile.  I let myself fall in love with him, even though we'd never met in person, after he told me that song reminded him of me.  
8.  He's also really cute when he gets excited about something he cares about or is interested in.
9.  He's extremely smart and talented, loving and a little crazy like me.
10.Being with him makes me want and try to be a better person.

There are so many more reasons why I love my husband.  I will forever be thankful he entered my life that crazy and impetuous night.  I love you, R, with all that I am.
