Talent

  • Jan. 12th, 2009 at 11:54 PM
I've had such fun this last week surfing from one art blog to the next, getting inspired and motivated to be more creative.  With the tendonitis in my right hand acting up the past few days, I haven't been able to draw but it's feeling a bit better now so I'll give it a try tomorrow or Wednesday.  I'm so amazed by the art I've discovered.  People are so talented, it makes me wonder where it all comes from and did I receive a sprinkling of that magic talent fairy dust? I'm going to try to dig up some of my old drawings and hope that will give me some confidence...or not.  I remember by high school art teacher saying I had the talent and abilities of someone much older than myself.  Can that talent be lost forever if it's not utilitized and nourished?  Let's hope not!

I'm off to sleep now.  May you all have a warm, wonderful Tuesday!

Artist Camille M. Boggs

I've discovered quite a few amazing artists the last few days as I've surfed from one blog to another.  One artist, Camille M. Boggs, has blown me away with her talent.  I've featured her on my Rudigirl's World blog today.  Please go check it out.  It's this kind of talent that inspires me to want to tap my innermost creative being and develop and nourish it into hopefully producing something incredible.  What are you waiting for?  Go check it out!  ;)

Art Therapy

Please look for my "Thoughtful Thursday" post about art therapy over at Texty Ladies.  I'd love to hear your comments on the subject.

On the subject of food, I'm eating a caramel rice cake right now and it's not half bad!  So much for my resolution not to eat after 9:00 p.m.!
